UGG® Australia Carnero Mens Boots

To start off I never would have considered Uggs, but these boots certainly do not look like the girls boots. They look vary similar to the boots worn by aviators of the early 20th century. Witch was why I got them. I ordered a 9 cinnamon and about a week later that's was what I got (kudos to super lamb for great service). My first impressions were good. Nice supple leather and dense thick fur. The color is vary nice and even across the boot, and the sole has a nice practical tread pattern. The inside is awesome, thick plush sheep hide lines the entire boot even the insole is sheep hide. And are they are warm, even in 8 degree temps my feet stayed toasty. But There are some things I would change. First off I would change the straps and buckles, there mostly for show being thin and flimsy. I would put heavy roller buckles and heavy cowhide straps so that you could actually use them. The next thing I'd do is use a more durable leather on them, The leather on these boots scratches vary easily and I have to constantly put shoe polish on them to cover them up. the last thing I'd do is offer them in wide sizes, I usually take a 8 wide but I got a 9 so I could where them and they do fit OK with light socks but get vary cramped with even a medium weight sock, and there's about an inch of space in the toe area that is unused. Over all I don't think I would get these again, not unless the problems I pointed out where fixed. But if all you plan to do is where them out on the town or for a stroll a round the block there fine. But they just wont hold up to hikes in the woods or cross country skiing.
